Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how World Cup 2026 Predictor (“we,” “our,” or “the site”) handles information when you use this website. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.
1. What data we collect
We do not collect any personal data. The site has no user accounts, no registration, no contact forms, and no analytics tracking.
Your World Cup predictions are stored exclusively in your browser’s
localStorage under the key wc2026-predictions. This data
never leaves your device and is never transmitted to any server. You can clear it
at any time by clicking “Reset” in the game or clearing your browser
storage.
2. Cookies
This website does not set any cookies directly. We use localStorage
(not cookies) to save your predictions locally.
Third-party affiliate cookies: Some links on this site are affiliate links (see our Affiliate Disclosure). When you click an affiliate link and visit a partner’s website, that partner may set cookies on their domain in accordance with their own privacy policy. We do not control this tracking and receive no personal data from it — we only receive an anonymous commission notification if a qualifying purchase or sign-up occurs.
Partners whose links may set cookies on their own domains include NordVPN, ExpressVPN, Amazon, Fanatics, FuboTV, and ESPN+.
3. Analytics
This site uses Ahrefs Web Analytics to measure traffic and understand how visitors use the site. Ahrefs Analytics is a privacy-first tool that:
- Does not use cookies or local storage for tracking
- Does not collect any personal data
- Anonymises IP addresses before processing
- Does not track visitors across websites
Because no cookies are set and no personal data is collected, this analytics implementation does not require cookie consent under GDPR or the UK GDPR. For more details, see Ahrefs Web Analytics privacy information .
5. Hosting and server logs
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare may process certain technical data (such as your IP address) as part of routing and DDoS protection. This is handled according to Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy . We do not have access to individual server logs or IP addresses.
6. Children’s privacy
This site is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
7. Your rights (GDPR / UK GDPR)
Because we do not collect or store personal data, the standard data subject rights
(access, erasure, portability, etc.) are satisfied by default — there is no
personal data held about you on our systems. The only data that relates to you is
stored in your own browser’s localStorage, which you control
entirely.
For any data processed by third parties (Cloudflare, affiliate partners), please refer to their respective privacy policies.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if our practices change. The “last updated” date at the top of this page reflects when changes were last made. Continued use of the site after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
9. Contact
For any privacy-related questions, please refer to our Affiliate Disclosure page or use the contact details provided in the site’s footer.
